SYNOPSIS
King Lear is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare. It tells the tale of a king who bequeaths her power and land to two of her three children, after they declare their love for her in an extremely fawning and obsequious manner. In this take, 1950s Hollywood style, Lear will have to balance the pitfalls of her falling fame, her children’s stardom and learning to know herself as she loses what matters most.
