Pride and Prejudice: All of the wit and romance of Jane Austen’s classic 1813 novel come to life in this refreshingly fast-paced and engaging new adaptation. Finding a husband is hardly Elizabeth Bennet’s most urgent priority. But with four sisters, an overzealous match-making mother, and a string of unsuitable suitors, it’s difficult to escape the subject. When the independent-minded Elizabeth meets the handsome but enigmatic Mr. Darcy, she is determined not to let her feelings triumph over her own good sense — but the truth turns out to be slipperier than it seems. In a society where subtle snubs and deceit proliferate, is it possible for Elizabeth and Darcy to look beyond his pride and her prejudice, and to make the best match of all?

Elizabeth Bennet – the protagonist, the 2nd eldest Bennet sister. She’s headstrong, quick witted and gives her opinion very decidedly. One of her father’s favourite kids.

Mr. Darcy – the antagonist/love interest for Elizabeth. Comes across as very proud and rude to everyone around him but he’s just really bad at talking to people.

Jane Bennet – The eldest Bennet sister, very sweet and kind. One of her father’s favourite kids. Think of the most beautiful ray of sunshine you’ve ever met. That’s Jane.

Mr. Bingley – Mr. Darcy’s best friend and the best man you could ask for. He’s very sweet but is easily swayed by the people around him.

Mr. Bennet – The Bennet sisters father. He is very witty and sarcastic. Will roast everyone in sight, including his own family.

Mrs. Bennet – The Bennet sisters mother. She is desperate for her daughters to be married off, really just wants them to live a life with no financial worries. Can come across as blunt and annoying.

Mary Bennet – The 3rd eldest Bennet sister. Boring, plain, really likes to read books and not much else.

Kitty Bennet – The 2nd youngest Bennet sister. Follows Lydia around everywhere, gets upset when Lydia gets things that she doesn’t because she’s older.

Lydia Bennet – The youngest Bennet sister. She’s loud, gets what she wants, is her mother’s favourite child. She’s a bit bratty and takes after her mother.

Miss Bingley – Mr. Bingley’s sister. She is THIRSTY for Mr. Darcy and will put any girl down who dares try to snatch him. She is the definition of being two-faced and is overall … rude.

Lady Catherine de Bourgh – Mr. Darcy’s aunt. She is aggressively upper class. She would be rude to waiters. She would ask to speak to the manager. She would call the cops on you for selling lemonade without a permit.

Mrs. Gardiner – the aunt of the Bennet sisters. She’s a very nice woman, very different from her sister, Mrs. Bennet. She’s just very chill!

George Wickham – a soldier and a childhood friend of Mr. Darcy. He is VERY charming which is how he can get away with some nonsense.

Georgiana Darcy – Mr. Darcy’s sister. She’s a very young, sweet girl. Mr. Darcy dotes on her and she deserves it honestly. Jane levels of goodness.

Charlotte Lucas – Elizabeth’s best friend. Very plain, nothing overly remarkable about her. She just wants to live a comfortable life, does not care about marrying for love.

Mr. Collins – the cousin of the Bennet. He is a clergyman and does not stop talking. Specifically about Lady Catherine de Bourgh. An actual sentence he would probably say is “Have you heard of our lord and saviour, Lady Catherine de Bourgh?” He is that socially inept guy who doesn’t understand how the rules of society work.

Sir Lucas – Charlotte Lucas’s father. He hosts a ball and is overall a pretty cool guy. Very chill.

Mr. Gardiner – Mrs. Gardiner’s husband and the uncle of the Bennet sisters. He’s pretty chill, would love to go fishing in a trout stream.

Col. Fitzwilliam – Mr. Darcy’s cousin. He’s honestly just the best. Very nice and Bingley-levels of goodness. Will spill tea and ruin your day accidentally but never on purpose.
